Specialized Stuttering Therapy: The Lidcombe Program

We provide evidence-based intervention for young children who stutter, focusing on early success and long-term fluency through collaborative family support.

What makes it different

The Lidcombe Program is a behavioral treatment that empowers parents to provide direct feedback in their child's natural environment, making therapy feel like play while achieving rapid results.

  • Parent-led daily interactions under therapist guidance
  • Gentle feedback for fluent speech in natural settings
  • Regular monitoring to ensure long-term maintenance of fluency

What to expect

When to reach out

If you notice your preschooler repeating sounds, stretching vowels, or showing signs of frustration while speaking, early intervention provides the best path to confident communication.

We Accept Step Up For Students

Your child's scholarship can cover speech therapy with us.

Talk With Us is an approved Step Up For Students scholarships provider, including the Family Empowerment Scholarship for Unique Abilities (FES-UA) and the Personalized Education Program (PEP).

If your child has a scholarship, their funds can go directly toward speech and language therapy sessions — in your home or online.

Not sure if your scholarship covers therapy, or how to use it with a private provider? We'll walk you through it during your free consultation.

Step 1: Reach Out

Book your free 15-minute consultation, in English or Spanish. Tell us what you've been noticing, ask anything, and we'll see if we're the right fit — no pressure, no commitment.

Getting Started is Easy

Step 2: Evaluation

Step 3: Personalized Therapy

We'll complete a comprehensive assessment to understand your child's (or your own) strengths and needs, and walk you through exactly what we find in plain language.

Together we'll build a plan around your goals — how often we'll meet, what we'll work on, and how you'll see progress along the way. Sessions happen where it's easiest: your home or online.
